For over a decade I was a professor. I helped students to follow their dreams.
My classes were in communication, advertising, international relations, international business, and tv and film. I was a professor at Tsinghua University in Beijing, Hongik University in Seoul and Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. I also appeared on Phoenix TV, Business Insider, BuzzFeed, Korea Times, Korea Herald, BeFM, and CoinDesk.
My YouTube channel garners millions of views every month. Before YouTube, I worked in the entertainment industry and I was also in the US Navy.
I was born at Pleiku Air Base at the end of the Vietnam War. I survived the Operation Babylift plane crash, but lost my family. I grew up thinking I was an orphan until I found my family after forty-eight years. I write about the journey in my book.
I graduated both Brown and Penn. I speaks Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. My wife, Yeji, and I happily live in Busan, Korea.
